Selective Demolition
At DML Construction Services we thoroughly plan our demolition activities to coordinate with other trades, minimize disruptions, anticipate problems and offer solutions to efficiently perform our work. DML can professionally complete your selective demolition work from extensive hospital renovation projects to simple interior demolition. Our extensive experience working in hospitals has given us the knowledge of what it takes to work in an environment that requires dust control, hepa-filtered vacuums and air filtration equipment required to keep and maintain a clean, contaminated-free atmosphere.
To ensure a safe jobsite, DML employees go through and extensive training program that consists of 400 training hours and 4,000 on the job training hours provided by local labor unions. All journeyman laborers are required to have 10-hour OSHA and First Aid/CPR training. All journeyman laborers are also required to take 8 hours of upgrade training every year. Our demolition services cover a wide range of activities and include, but not limited to, removal of drywall partitions, masonry walls, cutting in new openings in drywall/masonry walls, ceilings, doors and hardware, all types of flooring, millwork and saw cutting and removal of concrete floor slabs for under-slab plumbing and electrical work. We can also provide temporary partitions and dust control as necessary.

General Cleaning
DML Construction Services offers an extensive line of cleaning services. Whether you require periodic jobsite cleanup, interior debris removal or general cleaning required for the installation of finished materials, DML will meet your needs. We can offer lump sum proposals or labor rates to perform cleaning and/or debris removal as directed. The following is a partial list of General Cleaning activities:
Removal of trash and debris
Provide dumpsters and debris removal from jobsite
Vacuum metal track prior to drywall installation
Broom sweep floors
Clean and mop floors in preparation of finished flooring
Final Cleaning
Our Final Clean service prepares the building for initial and/or final inspection by the architect or owner and will be completed to a state of move-in status. The following is a general checklist of our cleaning specifications required for most projects:
Remove any and all trash, dirt and debris from the building and dispose of as directed
Clean all cabinets and countertops including vacuuming the inside of cabinets as needed
Wipe down all wood trim, cabinets, doors and windows
Clean the inside and outside surfaces of all windows, glass doors and mirrors
Clean and shine all sink and plumbing fixtures and toilet accessories
Clean appliances and remove packing materials and temporary labels
Clean and shine all electrical fixtures and trim
Clean vinyl base
Clean shelving
Sweep and mop concrete and VCT flooring
Sweep all exterior storage areas, garages, patios and stoops
Dust, vacuum or wipe down walls as needed

Carpentry
DML Construction employs skilled, union carpenters, which allows us to perform rough and finished carpentry work. A few of the carpentry services we offer is the installation of wood or metal blocking, forming for footings or slabs, setting of hollow metal frames, doors and hardware, cabinets and countertops and toilet partitions and accessories. We work closely with the contractor’s superintendent to coordinate our work with the construction schedule and will dispatch manpower as necessary to perform work at various times throughout the progress of the project.
Concrete
DML Construction employs skilled cement finishers to perform floor slab, equipment pads, sidewalks and footings and foundations.
Millwright
DML Construction is signatory with union Millwrights. DML furnishes all millwright labor to Edge Companies Industrial Services group. Edge Industrial employ’s expertly trained millwrights and performs work ranging from short term maintenance contracts to new, full scale facilities. Our experience in the industrial field allows us to perform retrofits, modernizations and green-field projects.
